New Manager for Industrial and Transportation Markets

Our markets are growing, so our staff is, too. Michael Conroy recently joined the Specialty Photonics team as our Market Manager for Industrial and Transportation. He’ll be focused on understanding the dynamics of these marketplaces and working with customers to turn their projects (and dreams!) into reality with OFS optical fiber-based products. Mike’s extensive experience includes marketing positions at major industrial manufacturers and in global product management, which combine to make him an ideal person for anticipating the needs of our customers in these markets worldwide.

Those of our customers who have been with us for some time may remember working with Robert Dauphinais, our earlier Industrial Market Manager, and Dan Whelan, our previous Transportation Market Manager. Both gentlemen are still with us and will be available to Mike whenever he needs background or a practiced eye. Bob has accepted a new position with us as International Business Manager. Dan has taken over as Multimode Product Manager.

In short, you’ll be seeing these same names again as we coordinate together to bring you the best products with the right features for your unique applications, on time and at a great price. Our growing staff communicating effectively with each other and with you will make that happen every time. As always we welcome your feedback.
