RightWave™ Erbium-Doped Fiber. OFS offers a complete line of RightWave™ Erbium-Doped Fiber for C- and L-Band amplifiers, as well as ASE Sources. Together with our OASiX® Optical Amplifier Simulation Software, our experienced and knowledgeable customer support staff can help you to determine which OFS erbium-doped fiber is best for you.
ClearLite® 980-16 Fiber. With an NA of 0.16, this fiber is optimized for WDM pump/signal couplers used in EDFAs. ClearLite 980-20 Fiber delivers the best bend performance of all the ClearLite 980 Photonic Fibers. Both fibers operate at 980 and 1550 nm wavelengths. This allows WDM pump/signal couplers to combine the pump power at 980 nm and the transmission signal at 1550 nm into one fiber.
ClearLite® TruePhase® Fibers. OFS's full line of ClearLite Polarization-Maintaining Photonic Fibers includes TruePhase fibers at the 980 nm wavelength with both standard 400 µm and reduced-buffer 245 µm sizes. TruePhase 980 fiber is designed for use in integrated EDFA modules. The fiber can be used to pigtail 980 pumps and to construct PM pump combiners or PM pump/signal WDM couplers.
Fixed Broadband and Reconfigurable dispersion compensating modules (DSCM) cover a wide range of applications over a broad wavelength spectrum. These modules offer superior PMD performance and excellent slope matching for any transmission fiber type, operating in any band. OFS dispersion compensating modules are available with any dispersion value required from -10 to -2000 ps/nm in either C- or L-band.
TruePhase® IPLM Inline Polarimeter is the smallest form factor in the industry, primarily due to an innovative approach utilizing gratings in an all fiber device. With a more accurate mechanism of performing polarization measurements inline and at high speed, the module is ideal for integration into optical systems, T&M equipment, optical channel monitors, custom diagnostic tools and EDFA’s.
