OFS Facilities for Medical Manufacturing

OFS offers vertically integrated facilities with over 100,000 square feet of manufacturing and office space for the design, fabrication, customization, and packaging of medical product.

Medical and Quality Certifications

OFS is certified to ISO 13485; provides environmentally controlled, low-bio-burden rooms for hygienic manufacturing; and builds product to meet USP class VI standards.  OFS quality systems includes the creation and maintenance of device history records and adheres to other components of FDA Current good Manufacturing Practices.

What should I order?

OFS has a dedicated engineering team that designs and manufactures USP Class VI nontoxic fiber, cable and assemblies. In addition, OFS is able to develop products to be either disposable or withstand ­Autoclave or ETO sterilization. Because many medical applications use high laser powers to deliver light, cut, or coagulate tissue, OFS has designed specialty fibers specifically for these applications and resist loss and breakage under higher powers.
