OFS offers the all-fiber components and modules that enable high-performance laser diodes and fiber laser applications. Our extensive capabilities in specialty fiber design and manufacture together with fiber processing technologies provide solutions for micro and macro applications in the industrial, telecommunications, military and medical sectors.
OFS’ product line includes Fiber Laser & Amplifier building blocks: gain modules and laser cavities for 1 µm and 1.5 µm applications. These are built with OFS components: rare earth doped fibers which include PM & non-PM versions of Yb, Er-Yb gain fibers, and pump combiners in 7 to 19 to 1 configurations using SM, MM, or PM optical fiber.
