OFS requires a minimun order quantity on some of the products described in our website.  When you contact us for a quote, we will let you know if this policy applies to the product of interest to you.

OFS will charge applicable sales tax on purchases made by US customers.  If you will be reselling our products, please send us your valid Resale Certificate.

If you will be reselling the product outside the United States, please visit our International Trade Compliance page for important regulatory information.

If you have tax ­exempt status in one or more states, please send us your Sales & Use Tax Exemption Certificate for EACH of the states to which you will ask us to ship your products--Please remember that Tax Exemption is associated with the shipping address, not the billing address.

If you wish to make payment in advance by wire transfer or check, a proforma ­invoice and/or our banking information will be sent to you upon request.

Products, services, and technologies produced in the United States by OFS, Specialty Photonics Division, are subject to the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) administered by the Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) of the U. S. Department of Commerce. 

If you will be shipping our product overseas, you will need a Harmonized Tarriff System (HTS) number and an Export Control Classification Number (ECCN). Those are listed in the Export Matrix, in order by OFS part number.

There are also regulations you must know and comply with regarding Prohibited End Users, Restricted End Uses, and more. For more detailed information and a link to the U. S. Government website that provides a portal to the complete text of all the relevant regulations, please visit our International Trade Compliance page. OFS will provide all the necessary documents for export, and the buyer accepts all responsibilities subsequent to export clearance.

Important Note:  Our terms and conditions of sale apply when we grant a Return Materials Authorization. These include restocking and service changes for non-defective merchandise and are primarily described in paragraphs 6 and 7 of our Standard Terms and Conditions.
